Annie Jr. 2024
Published on: 06/7/24 2:36 PM
Drama Production This summer, the Crestwood Drama Program is excited to announce that we’ve got Annie! Annie Jr. will be making its way to the Crestwood stage. Get ready to join Annie, the orphans, Miss Hannigan, Mr. Warbucks, and the rest of the gang in this fun story about family and always remembering that the sun will come out tomorrow.
Children entering 2nd through 6th grade who have an interest in drama are welcome to join in this fantastic production. There is a part for everyone! Since the show will be presented in the 7th week of camp, all cast members must be enrolled for the 7th week of camp. Auditions for this production will take place during the first week of camp. If your child would like to audition but is not available the first week of camp, please send a video of your child singing any song they like via email to crestwooddrama@gmail.com.
Crestwood is excited to announce our new drama staff for this summer. Taking over as Drama Director is Carolanne Mazur. Carolanne is a teacher in the Hampton Bays school district where she directs and music directs her school productions. She is also the music director of the North Babylon Youth Center summer production. Sam Schelin, a student at LIU studying to get her BFA in Musical Theater, will be working alongside Carolanne. They are both super excited to be joining the Crestwood family and can’t wait to work with your kids!
After 9 years of running the Crestwood Drama Program, Jared Glazer has been promoted to Associate Program Director and will be overseeing all the Performing Arts areas at Crestwood. We look forward to seeing Jared take the Crestwood Arts to new heights.
Please fill out this google form to let us know your interest in our Crestwood Performing Arts programs.
Please note: The form is not required for your child to be in one of our clubs. Campers can make their own decision to join clubs when at camp. Likewise, we will not “force” a child to participate, even if a parent signs them up.
We’re looking forward to all the amazing performances happening at Crestwood this summer!
